About Jennifer Trotter

She holds a master's degree in mental health counseling from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She brings maturity and life experience to her practice of counseling, helping individuals and couples find personal solutions to life's issues. Working with adolescent and adult individuals, couples and families, she incorporates a holistic approach to counseling, viewing mental health as an important component to overall wellbeing.

Through her work as a counselor with a local hospice, she has gained insight on working with individuals and families dealing with end of life, grief, and loss. She has facilitated workshops for couples and completed extensive training in relationship counseling. Jennifer works to create a non-judgmental and authentic relationship with each of her clients, and places an emphasis on creating an environment of respect, empathy and support. She is a member of the Central Florida Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and abides by the ethical guidelines of each organization.
